The Bundestag has passed a new WLAN law, and freed the providers of public WLAN networks, for example on the golf course grounds, in the clubhouse or in the restaurant, from a legal gray-area. Up to this point, they were legally prosecuted when WLAN users downloaded illegal content.
This is over now, and a very good news for all golf clubs and facilities that offer their guests free WLAN access or plan to offer this in the future.
What you should consider You must be careful not to slow down or disrupt your Internet bandwidth and data volume for all online processes with increasing WLAN usage; this is important for your club network and ongoing IT operations.
