Thunderstorms and heavy rain showers can whirl through a golf tournament and game rules. And what happens with the game results? Hereby you can refresh your rules-knowhow:
The golf rules state
„If a game interrupted by the game management is no longer resumed, or the game is canceled immediately due to bad weather conditions, only the sub-games are considered effective. This is enabled by the "Abort tournament" feature in the club management software, t.“ → in PC CADDIE „Abort tournament“ (Anm. d.R.)
Furthermore:
„If an interruption is necessary, the round already started must not be shortened (for example, from 18 to 9 holes). Rule 33-1 prohibits this. There is no award ceremony in such cases. If a sponsor wishes to award prizes, they may be raffled among all those present in the clubhouse.“

If you still want a result list, at least over the holes played by all, you can use the blind hole rating. However, the blind-hole rating must be set to "no" again for closing the tourmanent Good to know
It can not be assumed that the tournament is canceled if a competition result has been entered for all tournament players, so that the option "Abort tournament" automatically becomes ineffective - even when selected. The results of the golf tournament will be transmitted to the intranet according to the default settings "normal handicap effective".
