Independent updates of new PC CADDIE versions can be prevented in the future. Users with "Supervisor" role can restrict users their update rights in the password management of the current PC CADDIE version with the option "Parameter".
To restrict employees to perform independent updates, you would have to go to System > Password Management > Edit Access in the "Authorization" tab and set the "Parameter" drop-down menu to "No" - analog to the screenshot. Conversely, "Parameter" can be set to "Yes" if users should be authorized to perform standalone updates.
Please note that the "Parameter" authorization in the password management also generally restricts other setting parameters in PC CADDY. If you only want to prevent the loading of updates for individual employees, there is also a special setting that we will be happy to make for you. To do this, please contact support.
